Transport authorities are toothless against idiot Tesla owners
This week the US government opened a formal investigation into Tesla’s Autopilot automated driving system due to a series of collisions with emergency vehicles. Since 2018, Tesla cars driven in Autopilot have crashed into parked first-responder vehicles 11 times, resulting in 17 people being injured and one death. While that sounds serious, I wouldn’t bet on the investigation to lead to real change. How do you miss an emergency vehicle?!
